Making A White Wreath

Vintage or new buttons can help you create a white wreath with simple appeal. To make these Christmas wreaths a straw wreath form is wrapped with grosgrain ribbon, then buttons are added. You will need 14- to 16-inch diameter straw wreath form, 4-6 yards of white grosgrain ribbon, straight pins, white buttons, tacky white crafts glue and 3-inch wide velvet ribbon for hanging. Tightly wrap the straw wreath form with ribbon, and glue the buttons to the ribbon. 

You can also make a white Christmas wreath using hard wrapped candies, ribbon and a hanger. You’ll need a wire hanger, about 35 wrapped Christmas candies, and curling ribbon. Make the base for your wreaths by straightening the hanger and cutting it in half with wire cutters. Once you’ve made the base of your Christmas wreath, you can add the candy. Cut the curling ribbon into 8-inch pieces and use it to tie the candy tightly onto the wreath. 

More White Wreath Crafts

Pasta noodles make great white wreaths – glue them around a paper plate with the center cut out. Let glue dry and then spray paint white. Embellish wreath with tinsel. You can use fabric scraps, beads etc. in place of the pasta to make your white Christmas wreath.
